Press Release: Philadelphia, PA (May 12, 2008) - On Friday night, June 6th, undefeated Featherweight, Jules Blackwell will be in with his toughest test as he takes on Tyrell Samuel in an eight round bout that will headline a big night of boxing promoted by Vernoca L. Michael and Blue Horizon Boxing Promotions Inc. Blackwell of Phoenixville, Pa is itching to get back in the win column after two consecutive draws with the most recent being against Jae-Sung Lee on March 15th at Madison Square Garden. That bout was an exciting back and forth tussle which many ringsiders thought the decision could have gone either way.

Arnaoutis decisions Tyner in AC
"Mighty" Mike Arnaoutis scored a unanimous decision over Lanardo Tyner to retain his USBA Jr. Welterweight title at Bally's Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Tyner actually did well early as he tried to rush Arnaoutis in an effort to get inside of Arnaoutis. In round two, Tyner sent Arnaoutis back with a big left. Arnaoutis got back to boxing and using his legs as he was effective with the jab and shots to the body. The middle rounds saw Arnaoutis land an assortment of punches as he did not let Tyner get into any type of rhythm.



ZAB JUDAH TO ISHE SMITH: KEEP MY NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH
Needless to say former undisputed welterweight champion Zab "Super" Judah did not take kindly to Ishe Smith publicly voicing his opinion on Judah's decision to pull out of his fight with Shane Mosley following severe lacerations on his right arm that required 50 stitches. "Who is this clown to say anything about me? He don't know me and he don't know my situation.
